JIM Foundation
The Jim Foundation has been operating for over 18 years and is the largest non-governmental organisation in Poland dealing with autism. The Foundation employs over 150 specialists who work together with the sole purpose of creating a better world for children with autism, their families and carers.
What we did for them
We were asked to help the organisation develop a 3-5 year fundraising strategy, focusing particularly on introducing major donor and legacy programmes, improving donor communications and growing the overall fundraising activity.
We worked closely with the internal JiM team, seeking to understand both the work of the organisation and the context in which it operates. We held workshops and meetings with the staff team and other stakeholders, and reviewed the existing fundraising material. We analysed the fundraising environment in Poland, looking at comparable organisations to understand how they fundraised and what lessons could be learnt for the JiM Foundation. We carried out research to identify key donors and audiences.
Finally, we pulled all the information together into an Action Plan and recommendations which will allow the organisation to meet their objectives, introduce new funding streams, increase their income and further develop their work with children with autism.
